Agricultural Insurance Agreement between ARMT and Rift Valley Farms in Jericho

Jericho – ARMT signed today an agricultural insurance agreement with Rift Valley Farms, located in the Al-Auja area of Jericho. This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to enhance its agricultural insurance services and support farmers in facing risks that may threaten their production and business sustainability.

The signing took place during a field visit by an ARMT delegation that included Dr. Ahmad Musha’sha, General Manager; Dr. Youssef Hussein, Director of the Production and Sales Department; Mr. Aseed Al-Shanti, Director of the Agents Department; and Mr. Ahmad Abu Ashayba, Branch Manager of Jericho.

During the meeting, Dr. Musha’sha expressed his appreciation for the trust shown by Rift Valley Farms in selecting ARMT as its insurance partner. He pointed out that this agreement builds upon the company’s previous success in insuring palm farms last year, which was marked by the introduction of effective insurance solutions and compensation for damages caused by the red palm weevil, thereby reinforcing confidence in the company’s products and services.

For his part, Mr. Omar Al-Alami, Vice Chairman of Rift Valley Farms, praised ARMT’s efforts and expressed his appreciation for the company’s innovative agricultural insurance products, which provide real protection for farmers and fill a long-standing gap in the local market for specialized palm farm insurance.

The visit concluded with both parties emphasizing the importance of strengthening mutual cooperation to promote agricultural insurance awareness in Palestine and to develop sustainable insurance solutions that support farmers and advance the national agricultural sector.
